Gunshots in Belama Phase Four Leave Two Persons Injured
There was a shooting incident in the Belama Phase Four neighborhood on Saturday night which left Jaime Williams injured. It is believed that an argument between two families earlier that day resulted in the armed assault during which a woman was also grazed by a bullet. Superintendent Alejandro Cowo says that they have detained persons for questioning.

“What we understand is that Mr. Williams was inside of his yard along with other friends socializing when someone approached him and fired shots at their direction, causing him to receive a gunshot injury to his body. He was treated and he was discharged on the following morning. So far police have two persons in custody and are questioning them in regards to this shooting incident.”

“So this is the one in Phase Four, right? Was there also a female stabbed?”

“There was a female who was along with him who received a minor graze to her body. What we understand is that earlier in the evening there was an altercation among two groups of families in that location and that is what we believe had led to this shooting.”

“So you have known suspects.”

“Yes.”
