Robbers caught on camera but case still weak

Viewers may recall a robbery we reported last week, in which the BTL office in Ladyville was broken into over the lunch hour and a large amount of phone cards along with a lesser quantity of cash and cheques were stolen. At the time we predicted an early demise for the robbers, who were caught in the act by the office’s security camera. Today we are informed by police that while the camera did do its job and two Ladyville men have been detained, the pictures may not be clear enough to hold up in court. At newstime the suspects were still in detention while investigators seek to assemble a stronger case.
