Norman Rodriguez who is representing Ashton Vanegas indicated to the court that he would be late. Today’s session should have been the first day of submissions by the defense before Supreme Court Justice Antoinette Moore. The men including Ernest Castillo, who is represented by Baja Shoman and Keiron Fernandez who is being represented by Bryan Neal, are on trial for the July 2016 beheading of Pastor Llewellyn Lucas. The pastor’s severed head was found in a pick-up Ford-150 truck belonging to Mason.
