Another charged for being a Member of a Gang

A number of persons have been dragged to court and charged for being members of gangs. One such person who appeared this morning in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court is twenty-six-year-old Brandon Bennett, a resident of Louise Bevans Street, Belize City. Bennett, who was unrepresented, appeared before Senior Magistrate, Tricia Pitts-Anderson and was charged of being a member of the Long Beach Crip better known as “L.B.C.” Police claim they have been conducting surveillance on Bennett since April of 2018 and that his Facebook name is KD Sosa. For his guilty plea, Bennett was fined three thousand dollars which he was ordered to pay by January thirtieth, 2020 or in default six months.
