Senior Public Officer arrested in the US
Reynaldo Verde
There is word that Reynaldo Verde, Deputy Director of General Services in the General Sales Tax Department, has been arrested in the United States. Verde was attending a conference in Belgium and was on his way back to Belize. He was nabbed in Washington D.C.by U.S. law enforcement. Verde is said to be under investigation for violating U.S. law in respect of a U.S. company. He was charged this morning but the exact charge is not known.
