Musa departs for Taiwan summit in El Salvador
Having made a popular move that will hurt him in the pocketbook, Prime Minister Said Musa today departed the country for a meeting in El Salvador with some folks who may be able to help. On Friday he will attend the third summit of presidents of Central America and the Dominican Republic with the President of Taiwan. Among the agenda items are proposals for the administration of a regional development fund, which calls for a Taiwanese contribution of twenty million U.S. dollars per year for the next twelve years. The P.M. is expected to return home over the weekend.
