Former Chief Justice found safe and sound

There has been a happy ending to the disappearance of former Chief Justice, Sir George Brown. Sir George, who wandered away from his wife in the vicinity of Belama on the Northern Highway on Thursday, was found Friday night near the Haulover Creek. The former Chief Justice suffers from a neurological disorder known as partial complex seizures. A doctor familiar with the condition says it starts in a small area of the patient’s brain and usually causes mild seizures. It can grow worse if prescribed medication is not taken. This disorder also causes patients to occasionally become disoriented and wander about. Sir George was hospitalised and is said to be recovering satisfactorily. We would like to thank those viewers who called News 5 with information on his whereabouts. Those tips were passed on to police and we are told they aided in the successful search.
