Two charged in cocaine mega-bust

Two men were formally arraigned today in connection with Wednesday’s massive drug bust. Brothers Robert and Adrian Hertular appeared before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord where they were charged with drug trafficking. Bail was denied, for now at least, and the pair will reappear in court on May thirty-first. Three other suspects detained in the raids in Ladyville and Tower Hill were released with no charges being filed. Police have remained tight-lipped about the operation, which netted over a ton and a quarter of cocaine in three locations. It is not clear how Robert and Adrian Hertular were linked to the drugs, but judging from their behaviour on the way to the station, they are not exactly thrilled with the prospect of spending, at minimum, the next three weeks in Hattieville.
