Saffiyah has the post-Easter hot spots for the weekend
The weekend is here and so is What’s Happening Belize with ideas to occupy your time. You can party in all white in the city, catch a volleyball game in Belmopan or have tilapia in Crooked Tree. Safiyyah has the details.
Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize? Easter may be over but the weather’s still great and there are lots of fun things for you do this and upcoming weekends.
This Saturday night inside Club next there will be an All White affair called Threesome. This big bash will feature Renaissance Disco from Jamaica as well as our local DJs like; Tagg International, DJ Dalla, Blue Steel, DJ Motion and the Alliance Crew. All threesomes of one guy with two ladies enter free before Midnight and all ladies dressed in all white enter at half price. This is all happening this Saturday night inside Club Next.
If you’re interested in seeing a few volleyball games and you’re near Belmopan then you can head over to the hilltop court where the Belmopan Volleyball Association will be having their males games this Friday and Saturday nights at seven p.m.
Also this weekend Crooked Tree will be having a Tilapia Fest on Saturday and Sunday. There will be lots of fun games and lots to eat and drink. Of course, there will be plenty of fish dishes for you to try. The village council of Crooked Tree invites you and your family out to have a day of fun in their village.
And a big one to look out for is the Labor Day is the Youth Fest happening on May first. There will be live performances as well as Dance off competitions. A dance will follow all the entertainment. This is a non-alcoholic event put together by the Positive Youth Promotions, the Youth Committee and Youth for the Future. It will be held and the Belize City Center and I’ll give you more info later.
Also around Labor Day you can check out the second annual Reggae Bring Back Love concert. This concert will be held on the thirtieth of April and will feature Morgan Heritage. I will definitely keep you up to date on that one.
Well that’s all for now. Have a superb weekend. Bye!
