Mexicans Busted with Firearms in the North
Two armed Mexican nationals were picked up near the border over the weekend. Police say both men had firearms and are now in police detention awaiting charges. At today’s press briefing the police gave details on the arrest.

“On Saturday morning, shortly before five a.m, while Orange Wlak Police was in operation in an area south-west of Blue Creek Village in the Orange Walk district they came across a male person riding on a bike with a shot gun. He was also accompanied by another male person also armed with a shotgun. They were learnt to be Noe Garcia Gironimo and Andres Tapia Ku both Mexican nationals. One of the firearms was a 20-guage shotgun and ten cartridges in the possession of Gironimo. While,Tapia Ku had a 16-guage-shotgun and five rounds of ammunition. They were both detained and escorted to the Orange Walk police station where they have since been arrested and charged for those offences.”
