Bodies found in Dangriga, Cayo
Two Guatemalan men are dead at opposite ends of the country, apparently the victims of foul play. The body of twenty-five year old Chichilla Polanco, was found floating in the sea in front of Dangriga, tied to a stump. Polanco, who works at Dakita’s farm on the Southern Highway, was fully clothed and displayed injuries to the head. The body awaits a post-mortem at Southern Regional Hospital.
Meanwhile, another corpse awaits a post-mortem, this one at Belmopan Hospital. Fifty-three year old farm worker Humberto Tesecum of Melchor de Mencos was found on a hillside about a quarter mile inside Belize near the Arenal Road. He had suffered massive chop wounds to the head and face. No arrests have been made in either case.
