Albert Moreira is Committed to Stand Trial for Murder of His Ex-Wife
The fate of Albert Moreira, accused of the murder of his estranged common-law wife, has been decided and he will have to stand trial at the Supreme Court. According to Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson, the defense did not challenge any of the documents and while there is no direct evidence that Moreira committed the crime, there is sufficient to put the defendant on trial. Felicia James was last seen in her Kia SUV, which had broken down on the Coastal Road. A mechanic testified that he had bought parts from the dismantled vehicle from Moriera. The badly decomposed body of James was found on October nineteenth, 2018. She was last seen alive on October eleventh, 2018 in the company of Moreira. A witness told the court he had given Moriera a tow and then saw the vehicle on fire.
