Shooting Victim Critical in K.H.M.H.
Forty-two-year-old Belize City resident Eugene Tillett was shot on Wednesday night on Ebony Street. Tillett was reportedly making his way to Central American Boulevard when the gunman appeared and fired a single shot which hit him. Tillett is now in a critical condition at the K.H.M.H. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero tells us more.

“Upon their arrival, information was received that one person was shot and was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police visited the hospital where they found one Eugene Tillett with one gunshot injury to the lower left abdomen. Information was received that Tillett was walking on Ebony Street when he was approached by a male person who pulled out a firearm and fired a single shot at him. Tillett remains in the K.H.M.H. in a critical condition.”
