Lavender Street Fisherman Charged for Attempted Murder of Eugene Tillett
One man has been charged for last Wednesday’s attempt on the life of forty-two-year-old Eugene Tillett. The Belize City resident was shot on Ebony Street as he made his way to Central American Boulevard. According to official details, the gunman appeared and fired a single shot and he is now in a critical condition at the K.H.M.H. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero says that a fisherman from Lavender Street has been charged for the shooting.

“In regards to the shooting incident that occurred on Ebony Street where Eugene Tillett was shot on Wednesday, the second day of October, 2019, police arrested and charged Ermond Tillett, twenty-seven years Belizean fisherman of Lavender Street, for attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm.”
