U.S. Murder Suspect is Nabbed in Las Vegas
According to a news report in The New York Post, U.S. national Christopher Prestipino found refuge in Belize after he murdered a model in Las Vegas. His stay in Belize lasted a week after which the murder suspect headed back to Vegas where he was picked up by the police. The victim is Esmeralda Gonzalez, who from all accounts met a horrible death at the hands of her boyfriend. She had been missing for months and then her body found last week along with a U-Haul dolly. The news report states that the young model was injected with pool cleaner and then strangled. Prestipino allegedly told a friend that he had tied her to a bedpost, poisoned and strangled her. He then transported her encased body and had to use a truck to transport her. Prestipino is expected to face a slew of charges including murder, first-degree kidnapping resulting in substantial bodily harm and conspiracy to commit murder.
