ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Upon arrival, they saw a male person with apparent gunshot injuries, later identified as thirty-year-old Denfield Tasher of a Ladyville address. He was later transported to the KHMH, where he is listed in a stable condition. What the police know so far is that he was in conversation with a male person whom he claims he doesn’t know by name, and in that said process, the male person took out a firearm and fired several shots towards his direction, one of which caught him in the mid-section. So far, that is all the information police have been able to gather from him but we are looking at several other leads given to us in relation to this investigation.”
