Akeem Trapp is Freed of Murder Charge
In the Supreme Court, Akeem Trapp walked free of the murder of Ian Adolphus Junior, which occurred February twenty-sixth, 2015 on Gill Street in Belize City. Adolphus Junior was shot as many as three times. Today, the crown entered a nolle prosequi because there was not enough evidence to prove the charge of murder. On his dying bed, police say Adolphus Junior said his shooter was Trapp. At his preliminary inquiry on May fourth, 2016 Trapp made attempts to challenge the evidence of the deceased, telling the then Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser that Adolphus Junior had lied to his mother when he allegedly identified him as the shooter. But Senior Magistrate Fraser then did not believe Trapp and committed his case to the Supreme Court. Today, he exited the court as a free man.
