Bus driver charged in Tuesday accident
The driver of the Northern Transport bus which overturned on the Northern Highway yesterday morning has been arrested. Thirty year old Charles Meggs has been charged with driving without due care and attention, two counts of negligent wounding, three counts of negligent grievous harm and failure to provide a blood specimen for analysis. Four of the thirty-one passengers that were on the bus are being treated for their injuries at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. One of the victims, Florentina Ellis, received damage to her spine and is awaiting the arrival of a bone specialist.
