A Man is Charged for Raping a Male Child

Another child has been scarred due to sexual violence at a very early age. It involves a six-year-old boy, who was left in the care of a man he knows well.  The boy and his father went to overnight at the house of the friend in San Pedro. But the father reportedly left to buy food, leaving the child with the man on the night of October thirteenth. Police say that the six-year-old fell asleep, but was awoken by the man who was raping him. It is not known when the father returned to the house, but the boy complained to his mother who took him for a medical check-up. The examination confirmed that there is evidence of rape. Police have arrested and charged the grown man for the crime of Rape of a Male Child. The mother took her son to the police last week and made the disturbing report. The names of the victim and the alleged rapist will not be released to protect the child. As recent as last week, a five-year-old girl was raped in the south. The girl identified a fourteen-year-old male for the unlawful sexual intercourse. Another five-year-old girl also claimed she had been abused by the same fourteen-year-old. In this instance, the Human Development Ministry was assisting the police on how to treat this case.
