Burglars steal car, caught by cops
Last night police stopped a van they thought looked suspicious and hit the jackpot. Not only was the vehicle stolen, but its occupants also had it full of loot from a burglary. Reggie Patnet, a seventeen year old laborer of Ladyville, sixteen year old Ernie Miranda and twenty-one year old Richard Ferguson of Belize City were all charged with burglary and handling stolen property. The van was stolen from Simon Quan in Belize City, while the heist was committed on the home of Leslie Usher in Ladyville. The suspects were arrested after two this morning as they drove down North Front Street.
