Suspect arrested in driveby shooting
An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident that left one Belize City woman in the hospital. Friday night, Sharlette Augustus was injured during a drive by shooting while she was standing at the corner of King Street and West Canal. Twenty-one year old Alger Gordon has been identified by an eyewitness as the triggerman and has been charged with aggravated assault. The bullet that hit Augustus in the abdomen was intended for one of her companions.
