Jaime Hope is Freed of Attempted Murder Charge
Jamie Hope, who was charged with “Attempted Murder and “Grievous Harm, was freed of the charges when she appeared before Justice Marilyn Williams and Crown Counsel Sherigne Rodriguez entered a nolle prosequi. Crown Counsel Rogriguez told the court that the crown is withdrawing the matter since the witness no longer wishes to proceed with the case. The incident occurred on September seventeenth 2012; it is alleged that Hope struck Joana Orellana, a Manager of Caye Caulker Plaza Hotel, with a bottle while she was inside the San Pedro Belize Express Water Terminal. Orellana was injured and today she proceeded to withdrew the charges.
