Two apprehended in farm shooting
Two men are in custody tonight, believed to be part of a trio of thugs who robbed a farm and shot one of its workers. On Tuesday afternoon Jermaine Rhaburn was at his job on the Kim Chee Farm in Gardenia Village when three men tied him up and robbed the farm house. Apparently not content with what they found, they then shot Rhaburn in the chest with a handgun and fled. Rhaburn managed to make it to the Northern Highway where he described his assailants to police. Officers learned that the men had boarded a bus for Belize City and a search of one particular bus led to the apprehension of two suspects. A third suspect fled into the bush along the road and remains at large.
