ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Upon arrival they observed a black X-TERRA SUV type vehicle with damages to its front portion and also in the middle of the highway they observed a gray Toyota Hilux with damages to the left side of the vehicle. What we know so far is that the XTERRA was west bound and was driven by Emily Aldana who reported that while reaching the area of the scene of the accident , she observed a vehicle coming from the opposite direction swerve into her lane and as a result she applied brakes but was unable to avoid the impact. The other driver was learnt to be one Glenford McFadzean who was driving in the opposite direction. Both drivers received varying degrees of injuries. McFadzean is in a stable condition in the KHMH and we believe the other victim has since been treated and released from the hospital. Police investigation into this matter is ongoing.”
