Nigerian taxi man found shot to death
Another taxi driver has been found shot to death. This time it’s thirty-five year old Nigerian, Tayo David Anjorin of Campus Avenue in Belize City. Police say on Thursday Anjorin’s common-law wife Margaret Miller reported that the day before Anjorin left their home around six-fifteen a.m. in his blue Toyota Corolla taxi and had not returned. She also said that she was told that Anjorin’s taxi was found extensively damaged around twelve and a half miles on the Northern Highway. On Saturday around four p.m. police found Anjorin’s corpse near the Burdon Canal Bridge on the Western Highway, fully clothed with gunshot wounds to head and chest. Today News 5 spoke with Anjorin’s friend and fellow taxi driver Abdul Gafar.
