Three are Charged in Connection with Robbery in the West
Police have charged three persons in connection with the robbery at J and A Store in San Ignacio. In Wednesday night’s newscast we told you about the two men who entered the business on Flaming Avenue on Tuesday afternoon and held up the proprietor. The men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say two have been charged with robbery and another with conspiracy to commit robbery. Hilberto Romero of the CIB tells us more.

“A complainant reported that two male persons entered with firearm and held her up. They stole an amount of cash and one of the male persons inflicted an injury on one of the persons at the establishment. An investigation was conducted into this matter and thereafter two persons Zephaniah Mariano and Imer Trujillo were jointly charged for robbery and Trujillo was additionally charged for wounding. Carlton McKoy was charged for conspiracy to commit robbery. This is after police conducted a thorough investigation into this robbery.”
