A Payment Plan to Compensate Candice Miller

There is fresh information tonight in respect of a proposal by former City administrator Candice Miller to the Belize City Council.  Pending an appeal, Miller has proposed to stop the crow-footing of the City Council assets upon payment by the City Council of two hundred thousand dollars in installments between November twentieth and January thirtieth of 2020.  The first tranche is for fifty thousand dollars; thereafter, there are four payments of twenty-five thousand dollars. The last payment of fifty thousand dollars is to be made at the end of January. The Council has been ordered by the court to pay Miller for wrongful termination.
