Shots Fired in Griga Dang

Unconfirmed reports reaching our news desk this evening is that there was a shootout in Dangriga this afternoon.   Reliable sources tell News Five that five men, reportedly dressed in blue, opened fire on a group of men inside a boat.  We understand that the incident occurred at a pier in the Harlem area of town.  It is unclear at the moment whether there were any injuries as a result of gunfire.  Of note, however, is that it is the general vicinity where twenty-year-old Jahvis Wagner was slain on Monday evening in front of his grandmother’s place of business on Commerce Street. There has been no indication from police that the incidents are related.
