Mother of missing man pleas for information
News Five has been following case of Enrique Ricardo Magana, a resident of San Joaquin Village in the Corozal District, who was last seen by his wife on March twenty-eighth. Two days later, officers found his van on Consejo Road with his passport and documents still in tact. He has not been heard from him since then. Magana’s wife and kids are distraught and today Magana’s mother made an appeal to the public for information about her son.
Sylvia Magana, Mother of Missing Man
“It’s the twenty-eighth of March, which today makes eighteen days since he disappeared and I don’t know the whereabouts up to today. Rumors around but nothing confirmed. They see him there they see him here; but nothing that I could hold onto. So his wife said last night, she doesn’t know nothing. We don’t know nothing. So I don’t know.”

“You want if anyone sees him, for them to call you?”
Sylvia Magana
“Yes. I like if they know, whoever know if they can call the police.”
Jose Sanchez
“Has the police told you anything at this point about his whereabouts? Have they any word, any clues?”
Sylvia Magana
“Not as yet, not as yet. Every clue we’re looking at, they are false. But I am appealing to the public, as a mother, to please if anybody knows anything let me know.”
Magana said that she has hired a private investigator to search for her son, but the family will not be able to indefinitely afford the cost. If anyone has any information that can help the Magana family they call 671-7382.
