Police Officers Recognized for Exceptional Performance

Four police officers were today recognized for their exceptional work in fighting crime. They are CIB officer Corporal Cassandra O’Brien, P.C. Lennox Castillo, P.C. Frederic Frazier and Corporal Brizenio Chub. The woman and men were recognized for the crucial role they played in the murder investigations of thirty-year-old Geovanni Lennan which took place on Thursday night, November fourteenth and Zheng Liu. Eighteen-year-old Denver Bevans and twenty-four-year-old Joseph Vaccaro have been charged for the murders, respectively. Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police, spoke of the award.

“You’ll know that as a discipline organization we are in the habit of disciplining officers to ensure that they tow a straight line but really we must also be that department that is quick to reward our officers who perform exceptionally well. Under this administration we believe that officer who do well that they get the recognition that they so deserve for the good work that they do. Well we try to do it as often as we can as so long we have a situation where an officer has done exceptional well, we waste no time in rewarding that officer. Today is one such day where the murder of Mr. Lennon took place two weeks ago and the one with Mr. Zheng just over the weekend gone. So we decided to put of the incident together and have one ceremony today.”

The exceptional officers received cash and certificate.
