Schools receive computers from Courts

Story Picture
Six schools spread across the country have acquired computers as the result of a promotion by Courts. Customers who spent two hundred dollars at the store received a raffle ticket to win a computer, not for themselves, but for a school of their choice. The package, worth three thousand five hundred dollars, includes a monitor, CPU with basic Windows software, printer and UPS. This morning the computers were presented to principals at Courts Belize City Branch.

Mario Mesh, Principal, Xaibe R.C. School

“As principal of the school I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to miss Hilberta Cowo for this wonderful contribution to our school. And most of all to the people of Courts for promoting this so that education in Belize can aim higher because we are in the modern era of technology.”

Olga Barber, General Manager, Sales Dept., Courts

“During the month of February, Courts gave every customer who purchased over two hundred dollars a ticket to win a computer. The computer promotion ran for a month and each customer was told that to choose a school to donate the computer to.”

“A customer was given a chance from each branch, so we gave away six computers based on which school the customer wanted. In Orange Walk we had Trial Farm Government School, in Corozal Xaibe Roman Catholic School, for the Cayo branch Succotz Roman Catholic School, for Belize District, it was San Pedro Roman catholic School and for Dangriga it was Dangriga Methodist School.”

The next Courts giveaway will be Catch the Cash. On April third, one lucky person will be put in a glass enclosure swirling with over two thousand dollars and will attempt to grab and pocket as much cash as he or she can.
