Another Carjacking in the West

There has been an alarming increase in carjacking in the west in recent days. The stolen vehicles are quickly transported over the border into Guatemala. Another such case occurred on Monday morning. The victim, fifty-five-year-old Santiago Molina recounted to police that at around eleven-thirty that morning he was driving out of his residence on the Arenal Road in his beige Toyota Hilux pickup truck when he was accosted by three men. The men were masked and armed with handguns. They demanded that he hand over the keys to the pickup truck which Molina did. The culprits then sped off in the direction of Guatemala.
