Darlene Whitfield Believes her Son is Dead and Wants Closure

The family has been working closely with investigators from the Belama precinct as information on his whereabouts is being reviewed.  In the one-on-one interview with News Five; an emotional Darlene Whitfield believes her son is dead and her family wants closure.

“If unu do something to ahn, unu just tell me weh part ih deh because it hurt. But if yo find the body, then yo could got closure. If yo noh find the body then ih just go unsolved; things wonder ina yo head and yo noh know weh fu think. Dah neva wah perfect child, but dah still my child and I love him. So I noh know. I di plead to the public, anybody weh hear anything—unu noh have to put unu name pan nothing, unu noh have to bring no name, just say weh part ih deh so that we could get ahn and put ahn to rest if ih dead. If ih noh dead, unu tell we weh part ih deh make we could get ahn.”

“Well they are doing their part. As we all know dah from last week. Dehn di work with me and I di work with dehn. Whatever lee information I pick up, I give it to them; whatever dehn hear, dehn inform me that certain things need to be done. Look for certain things and I look for it and we di communicate hand-in-hand fi make sure that we get some kinda closure.”
