In the wee hours of Sunday morning, this individual is caught by security cameras entering the residence of Tour Operator Yhony Rosado on the George Price Highway. He causally walks to the unlocked, parked 2014 Isuzu D-Max pickup truck, enters vehicle and waits for a few minutes before taking off. Rosado and his family were fast asleep when they heard the engine starting.

“My wife woke up, hearing the engine starting. She asked me if I lent one of my employees or friends the vehicle. I told her that she knows I don’t lend, I don’t know I am sleeping. From my room to my front door, it is like eight steps so I jumped up and checked and I still saw the tail of my truck going.”
The culprit took to the unfinished Airport Link road where the vehicle was found an hour later, crashed and destroyed.
“The CIB got a phone call about an hour after that some neighbor heard a noise on the new highway going to the airport which is not finish. The CIB asked me if I wanted to go check it out. We went to see and verify that was the truck. So the young was not there.”
Later authorities arrested their prime suspect: twenty three year old Armando Medina. He has been charged for the crime of theft. He pleaded not guilty. But before doing so, Rosado had offered him a payment plan to repay for the forty-five thousand dollars D-Max.
“Thirty minutes after police found out that there was a young man caught in Hattieville. So I was angry but happy that they caught the person who stole my truck. Who would want to steal a truck? There are a lot of trucks missing lately. Somebody no only thief it, broke it up, mash it up, finish it. Then they just arrest it and they charged him for whatever. I think he is pleading not guilty because I was trying to help the family because I need to get paid for my truck. It is an average mind of a human that when someone breaks something from you just pay me back so that life continues.”
