Fourth suspect charged for San Pedro murder
Turning to the courts, a fourth person is in custody for the sensational murder of twenty-eight year old John Paul Saldivar that occurred in January in San Pedro, A.C. Today, twenty-three year old Eric Swan, who was shot during a crossfire with police, appeared in Magistrates’ Court in crutches to answer to charges of Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder and will reappear in court on May thirteenth. The murder, which led to the shootout, occurred around three p.m. on January thirtieth of this year, shattering the idyllic outlook of the island. Saldivar was riddled with bullets in the murder, for which the motive is believed to have been an alleged drug operation gone awry. Saldivar was attacked by five individuals at Rocky Point, located some sixteen miles away from the town. While two of his assailants were fleeing the scene, they were encountered by cops and a cross fire ensued. Swan now joins twenty-eight year old Shelton Tillett, twenty-eight year old Micah Thompson and twenty-one year old Charles Woodeye in jail.
