ComPol Williams Comments on Anisha Young
It’s been one year since twenty-two-year-old Anisha Young vanished without a trace. Her family has given up hope that she is alive and has been doing all they can to get closure. Earlier this week, the family shared their discontent with the Police Department regarding the progress of the case. They said that samples were sent overseas for D.N.A. testing without their approval. They blamed the department but Commissioner of Police Chester Williams says it is the National Forensic Service that carries out such process.

“I do not know about that matter so I cannot comment about it. It is not the police department who sends DNA abroad. That is done by the National Forensic Service but as usual everything is the police. And we don’t have any issue with it. It is the way how things work at times.”
