Brian Harris Survives Near-fatal Attack in Hattieville
This morning, also in Hattieville, residents made a shocking discovery when they found thirty-seven-year-old Brian Harris with multiple gunshot wounds along a makeshift path off the George Price Highway. Harris was accosted and shot several times before being left for dead on Sunday night. Surprisingly, he survived the attack and was rushed to the K.H.M.H. this morning. It is believed that Harris was pursued and shot in the same Farmers Site vicinity as Phillip Roberts on Saturday night and police are investigating both incidents to determine whether they are connected.

“On Monday, December 16th, 2019, around nine a.m., police responded to a pecado road area in Hattieville, by seventeen miles where they found Brian Harris, thirty-seven-years-old, with gunshot injuries. He was immediately taken to the KHMH for treatment and he remains admitted at the KHMH at this time.”

“Sir, he is the one, he was found on the American New Site Road, right?”

“Is it a fact that he appears to have been shot last night and then found this morning?”

“The information gathered is that shots were heard in that area from last night. The police made checks but did not find anyone and this morning some persons in that area found him there.”

“Now we know there was a murder in Hattieville on Saturday night. Are these two things related by any chance?”

“Well, we will look into that as part of the investigation at this time. He was taken to the KHMH for treatment and thereafter, hopefully he recovers and we can interview him.”

“Sir, now the information is that he is from the Belama area in Belize City, maybe originally from Hattieville or so, but I am saying if he is from the Belama area in Belize City, was he in a known area there or was he an interloper on someone else’s area?”

“We do not know that at this time. That is all the information at this time, that he was found on that pecado road.”
