Thieves Steal Liquor and Money from BDF Camp

The workplace of the financial officer of the Belize Defense Force at Price Barracks, Ladyville was broken into recently and stolen from his office was an assortment of liquor, as well as an undisclosed sum of cash.  The burglary, from all indications, appears to be an inside job as the FO’s office space which is situated in between the commander and deputy commanders’ offices.  News Five understands that every year around this time, duty-free liquor is bought and sold to members of the B.D.F. for them to celebrate the season with their loved ones. It is unclear how the burglar or burglars gained access to the office and stole the bottles without being detected. An internal investigation is said to be underway.
