One Million Dollars in Christmas Cheer?

It’s that time of year once more, Christmas Cheer! Prime Minister Dean Barrow confirmed that Christmas cheer monies have been dispersed to the thirty-one area representatives. Like the previous year, U.D.P. area representatives received twice as must as P.U.P. area representatives.  P.U.P. area representatives received twenty thousand dollars, while the U.D.P. area representatives received forty thousand dollars. It is an increase from last year which put the total figure to one million dollars.

“As we did last year we tried to be both just and generous but maybe just before generous. The U.D.P. area reps. got forty thousands. Remember this is not cash. You have to do your performer invoices and all that and the opposition members got half so forty and twenty.”
