Steven Mejia on Bail for Burglary
Also in court was Steven Mejia. He recently pleaded guilty to being a member of a gang, but today he was hauled before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser for a charge of burglary, for which he pleaded not guilty. Mejia was offered bail in the sum of three thousand dollars, plus one surety. The incident occurred on December twelfth, 2019, when police say Mejia entered as a trespasser into the complainant’s residence and threatened to kill her. The case was adjourned to February twenty-fifth, 2020.
