4 Men & a Minor are Arraigned for the Attempted Murder of Dorian August
Four men and a minor will be spending Christmas behind bars after they were arraigned late this afternoon for attempted murder. Delroy Flowers, Bernard Lynch, Oliver Solis, Clive Stanford and a minor appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser where they were charged with unlawful imprisonment, attempted murder and dangerous harm upon Dorian August. Solis and the minor were also charged with robbery since it is alleged that the duo, by use of force, stole a cell phone from August. No plea was taken and the five were remanded to Central Prison until February twenty-sixth, 2020.
According to the investigation, on December twenty-first, August was at an establishment on Faber’s Road when he got into an argument with the men. The five accused forced him into a Saturn Vue SUV and took him on the dirt road leading to Tapir Bar near mile three and a half on the George Price Highway. Police were tipped off and a patrol went to the area and caught the four men and a minor cruelly beating August. The men were detained and August was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he is in a stable condition. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero gives details.

Is it considered more severe this crime considering the amount of missing persons that we have who then turn up apparently violently murdered? In the idea that this may be an attempted murder, five against one.”
Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
“Yes, it is a concern and that’s why the police responded and these persons will be now charged.”
