A Pair of Friends is Attacked and Chopped in Bullet Tree
A pair of friends is recovering at the San Ignacio Community Hospital from multiple chop wounds they received on Sunday morning as they left a bar in Bullet Tree Village. Genaro Martinez and Patricio Kuylen were out socializing at a party when they decided to go to El Ranchito’s Bar in the village. Just after two a.m. on Sunday, when the duo was leaving the bar, they were accosted by two residents, who are also from the village. Martinez and Kuylen were rushed to the hospital for treatment and remain in a stable condition. Police say that a motive has not been established at this time.

“Sometime around 2:40 a.m., police were called to the San Ignacio Community Hospital where they observed Genaro Martinez, thirty-two years, and Patricio Kuylen, thirty-six years, both of Bullet Tree Falls Village address with apparent chop wounds. Both persons reported to police that they were at a party socializing and then sometime later on, they decided to go to El Ranchito Bar in Bullet Tree Village to purchase additional liquor where upon coming out, they were attacked by two persons whom they are familiar with, who inflicted the said injuries.”
