“I am hurt. They hurt me and my family but let them find peace with God. I pray that God protect them and God let them find peace in him to continue their lives. My son is gone. I pray to God that they find peace with God. I am happy that we found him so I can get closure and that I can go back home and jus try to move on with my life again and try to put the pieces back in my life.”
Bowman’s body was discovered by family and friends search in the area; it was partially buried. A post-mortem exam revealed that he had been chopped multiple times to the head, neck and limbs and placed in a shallow grave. Now it had been weeks since he was reported missing, last seen leaving his house in the Young Bank area of Belmopan to collect money at Western Union.

“Friday, he messaged me on two-thirty on messenger and I talked to him and usually go to his house and I asked for him and they said he wasn’t there. Some of the guys said that he went to pick up some money that my mother sent for him. He went to the Credit Union first and then in the evening he went to Western Union. That’s where the guys picked him up and they drunk him. I don’t know that they did with him.”
Surveillance footage which News Five has received shows Bowman and the accused at an establishment drinking. The men were inside and then outside of the establishment, believed to be Lucky Entertainment in Roaring Creek Village. He then leaves with another dreadlock individual in a car. The car then drives up and another person gets into the vehicle which then drives off. That’s the last time Bowman was seen alive. But why was he killed?

“We are hearing so many things, so much information. I don’t know why. It is just a little bit of money. He picked up the first amount which was a hundred and seventy six dollars and the second amount was thirty dollars. It could never be for that little amount of money. We just don’t know.”
