Burglars Hit DHL on Coney Drive, Belize City
Less than forty-eight hours into the New Year and burglars struck again on the north side of Belize City; this time at a business in proximity to our studio on Coney Drive. Superintendent Alejandro Cowo says that the DHL office had been burglarized sometime over the holiday. The discovery was made around seven o’clock this morning when the staff reported for work and found that three laptops had been stolen. Up to the time of the press conference, police were still processing the scene so Superintendent Cowo shared the preliminary details.
Supt. Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Eastern Division
“Police responded to a burglary report at the DHL office on Coney Drive. Police are still in the area; I know the building has different offices—one is for DHL and two other separate offices. Stolen from there so far that we know is three laptops.”

“Sir in a case like this, is there any indication that it could be an inside job?”
Supt. Alejandro Cowo
“Well you know the investigation is very young; police are still at the scene trying to get information from the different persons that work in the office.”
