Allister Reyes Charged for City Shooting
Shifting to crime, on Wednesday, we reported on the shooting that left Kurtis Campbell with injuries to his back. Campbell was riding his bike when he was shot on Tuesday night in Belize City. Police say that they have arrested and charged the man who did it. A nineteen-year-old was slapped with attempted murder, among other charges. Here’s more from the police.

“On Tuesday, about eight-thirty p.m, thirty-year-old Kurtis James Campbell was riding his bicycle on South Creek and while approaching the corner of Salt Creek and Sea Gull Street, he was approached from behind by a male person on a motorcycle. The person on the motorcycle came off the cycle and fired several shots at Campbell causing injuries to him. He was admitted to the hospital and he was discharged the following day. As a result of that, police conducted an investigation, where nineteen-year-old Allister Reyes was detained and subsequently he was charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of use of deadly means of harm and grievous harm.”
