Libertad housewife charged with killing husband
Belize City is not the only place where lives are being taken in anger. In the village of Libertad, in the Corozal District, a woman has been arrested for killing her husband. Thirty-three year old Luis Chan died of wounds suffered on Tuesday afternoon. Police allege that Chan’s twenty-seven year old wife, Zoila Chan, stabbed him to death in a jealous rage. She has been charged with murder.
