Gunman Detained in Corozal Shooting
Also in Corozal, a San Andres resident was targeted by a gunman while hanging out on a basketball court in the village. Marlon Palacio escaped serious injury and says the shooting says was motivated by an altercation he had with the gunman just moments before. The nature of the argument is not known, but police say the other person returned with a gun and trained it at Palacio. A.C.P. Myvett told the media that the suspected gunman has since been taken into custody.
