Students Clash at Gwen Liz, Police Called in to Break Up Fight

Gwen Liz High School is back in the news tonight. There was a huge brawl among various groups of students at Gwen Lizarraga High School on Friday which forced classes to be suspended for the remainder of the day.  News Five understands that police officers and an ambulance had to be called to the scene when teachers and other members of staff were unable to break up the fight.  In speaking with a member of the school’s board of directors, we were informed that the cause of the clash is being investigated by the administration.  It was reported elsewhere that weapons and ammunition were subsequently discovered on the school compound, however, that account cannot be verified at this time.
