Husband and wife dead in highway accident
A husband and wife are dead following a head-on collision on the Western Highway Sunday evening. Police say Howell Adolphus was driving a red Chrysler along with two other passengers: his wife, Verna Hutchinson and twenty-four year old Sherman Herrera. They were all on their way home to Teakettle Village, from a football game in Orange Walk. Upon reaching mile thirty-one, they collided into a white Isuzu pick-up driven by Hugo Varrientos of Valley of Peace, which was travelling in the opposite direction. Adolphus and Hutchinson died on the spot. Both Varrientos and Herrera are in a stable condition at the KHMH.
