Two dead in W. Highway accident
Two men were killed and another injured in a traffic accident that occurred Monday night on the Western Highway. The men were travelling between miles sixty-eight and sixty-nine in a Honda Civic around 7:00, when the driver lost control of the car, causing it to overturn. Peter Saldivar, believed to be the driver, died on the spot while Leonardo Acosta, a customs guard, and Timothy Godoy were taken to the San Ignacio Hospital. Acosta succumbed to his injuries and died around 9:15 that night. Godoy sustained severe head trauma and was transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he remains unconscious, breathing with the aid of a ventilator.
